Hallway
As the first internal aspect of the home that you and others’ experience, the hallway needs to reflect, as far as possible, the overall feel that you are trying to create for your home.
Findings (potentially from the ‘honest estate agents’) suggest that your attitude and mood are affected either positively or negatively when entering a property (clearly no room for ambivalence in this respect), depending on how well the entrance hallway has been designed. Stating the obvious again, but if your hallway is light, warm and welcoming, it will make your visitors instantly feel relaxed and at home; alternatively, if it is dark, dingy and cluttered it will create a negative impact, making the space feel much smaller and oppressive. It is worth pointing out that different combinations of the characteristics listed above can be made to work - so a hallway can be dark, but welcoming (but only if it is designed in the right way).
Living Room
The living room is a crucial space of a house: it's the center around which the whole apartment gravitates. It's a private space which has two roles: obviously it has to mirror the owner's tastes and needs but every now and then it also has to welcome other people, could be friends or strangers, so it's also a representative space of prestige. This means that it's not so easy to conceive an interior design where everybody feels comfortable.
Giving a personal touch to a living room means making this room something unique, where the intimate characteristics of the owner can be mirrored.
Open Plan
open floor plan -- where you can see all of the paint colors at once -- aim for an integrated color scheme that works for the entire space.
For harmonious color that flows smoothly through an open space, choose paint colors that share a natural relationship to each other. To let the paint manufacturer do the work for you, select colors in the light-to-dark progression of a single paint chip. You also may use a color wheel to pick your paint. Opt for analogous colors that sit next to each other on the color wheel, complementary colors that are opposites, or triadic color schemes made of any three equidistant colors.
Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the home because food has such an important role to play in our lives. Time spent in the kitchen is a challenge to be embraced and is a way to tremendously bless your family.
Choosing a paint color for your kitchen seems challenging and scary because it's such a central part of the house and there seem to be so many elements to pull together. You can make a fabulous, dramatic change with paint color alone, and most kitchens can be painted in a day. Here's some tips for choosing the perfect paint color.
Dining Room
A dining area should bring people together to share in not just a meal, but in the timeless conversation and camaraderie that gets skipped in our all too hectic lives.
The dining room is not just a place for family and friends to share a meal…it is a place to gather…to listen to our loved ones thoughts…and to remind us of how blessed we truly are…the dining room never really lost it’s place in our homes…it just went away for a while…so we all could realize…just how important it really is!
Bathroom
Bathrooms offer a unique opportunity to create a dramatic impression in a functional space. At the same time they produce special wall cover challenges, when the presence of a shower and/or bathtub causes high levels of moisture and a need for frequent cleaning and disinfecting.
Small rooms, especially small bathrooms, pose minor problems regarding what color paint is best to use. You normally want to try to make a small room appear to be larger than what it is. You would not want to paint a small bathroom a very dark color, nor paint an accent wall a different color from the rest. Those techniques do not bode well for a small room. Choosing paint colors for a small bathroom is not easy.
Bedroom
A bedroom is a very important place where people relax after the long day activities. This is where people spend most of their time and therefore it is very important to have a good bedroom design that will make you feel comfortable and relaxed.
After you get home from the long day activities, you will need somewhere to sleep and relax so that you can gain energy for the next day. With a well painted bedroom, you will need not to worry about this. Therefore it is very essential to have a well painted bedroom for your comfort and healthy sleeping.

Outdoors
There’s no reason why you should neglect outside walls. There’s nothing better than al fresco summer dinners or days spent by the pool, so put a little time and care into your exterior walls and keep them looking great whatever the weather. If you don’t have an outdoor area, you can use your creativity to redesign your entrance way or front door.
Use sandy beiges and clean neutral colours to make a stylish outdoor haven, or opt for a sleek urban look with granite shades. Painting exterior walls can illuminate them and lighten up outdoor areas, making them into ideal entertaining spaces – for big family lunches or drinks parties with friends. If you don’t have a balcony or outdoor living space, try out your skills on a garden wall or at the entrance to your apartment.
